Project 1.2.1.1/18/A/006 1.16 “Development of integrated electronics for head position tracking and remote assistance functionality” Q4 2021 update

Hansamatrix Innovation SIA in cooperation with Lightspace Technologies SIA has successfully finished project “Development of integrated electronics for head position tracking and remote assistance functionality” in 2021 Q4.
Project partners has finalized project implementation at the end of 2021. Final reports have been prepared and submitted to Competence Centre of Electrical and Optical Equipment Production Sector of Latvia (further – LEO). During 2021 Q4 all parts of developed electronics have been tested in simulatedenvironment and we have gained confidence that developed solution will work. We are looking forward on system further development and implementation in our augmented reality products supplementing it with precise localization in environment, audiovisual two-way communication, gesture control and expanding options on virtual content displaying and positioning in environment solutions.

Project has been implemented in 14 months period, starting from November 1st, 2020 and continuing until end of December, 2021. The total planned cost of the project is 318001.61 EUR, consisting of 218585.07 EUR (68,73 %) public funding and 99415.54 EUR private funding.

Project 1.2.1.1/18/A/006 1.16 “Development of integrated electronics for head position tracking and remote assistance functionality”

Hansamatrix Innovation SIA in cooperation with Lightspace Technologies SIA has successfully finished 2021 Q3 in the project “Development of integrated electronics for head position tracking and remote assistance functionality”. During 2021 Q3 we have received positive feedback about the first activity report – feasibility study of peripheral implementation options. The second and third activities are carried out in parallel. Most of the required components are ordered and have been received, electronic module design and prototype assembly are at full pace. Both activities are complementing each other – prototyping parts feedback is taken into account by design activity which minor changes are implemented in prototype’s further development. The designed electronics module will have cameras, audio in, audio out features. Cameras can be used for remote work, quality control and potential computer vision applications. The foreseen duration of the project is 20 months, starting on November 1st, 2020. The total planned cost of the project is 318001.61 EUR, consisting of 218585.07 EUR (68,73 %) public funding and 99415.54 EUR private funding.
